Corrects wrinkles and enhances lip appearance
Restylane® restores volume and fullness to the skin, correcting facial wrinkles and folds, and enhancing the appearance of the lip border. It is an injectable cosmetic gel dermal filler made of stabilized hyaluronic acid, almost identical to the naturally occuring human hyaluronic acid.

How does it work?
Once applied to the skin or lip, the Restylane® maintains its shape using the body’s own moisture. They hyaluronic acid in Restylane® is hydrophyllic—it attracts water. Its ability to bind to more and more water is what allows for lasting volume.

What's the treatment like?
A Restylane® treatment is an easy and quick process. Since no skin testing is needed, the treatment takes about 30 minutes. The results are immediately visible. Restylane® is injected with a very thin needle under the skin.

How long does it last?
The duration of your results depends on many factors, such as the structure of your skin, your lifestyle and your age. For the majority of the patients treated, about 50-80% of the effect remains after 6 months.

Does it hurt ?
Dending on your sensitivity to pain, the injections may prick a little but normally, no anesthesia is needed for treating wrinkles and folds. However, we use a topical anesthetic for your comfort. During lip treatment we typicall use a nerve block to reduce the chances of discomfort.

Are there any risks or side effects?
About 1 in 2,000 people have experienced temporary swelling, redness and tenderness at or near the treatment site(s) up to several weeks after treatment.
