How does it work?

Recently imported from Switzerland, AWT™ represents a new approach to cellulite treatment. The technology uses gentle waves to break up cellulite connective tissue, releasing “dimples” and increasing lymphatic blood flow. The result is a significant reduction in cellulite, with many patients reporting weight loss and a drop in clothing size.

In addition, clinical results show that AWT™ patients typically experience:

Improvement in skin texture
Improvement in skin elasticity
Dermal firming
Circumference reduction

What’s the treatment like?
The procedure takes about 15 minutes for every area treated (the back of the thighs would be considered one area). Gentle pressure waves pass through the skin and fat to impact the fibrous septae, causing a break up of the collagen of the septae and releasing the skin to produce a smoother surface.

How long does it last?
Treatments are given twice a week for three weeks. Some patients may require a second series of six treatments to get more optimal results. Maintenance therapy consists of one treatment every three months.

Does it hurt?
The treatments are very tolerable with only very mild discomfort caused by the pulsations

Are there any risks or side effects?
Side effects are minimal. Redness may occur temporarily at the treated area as a result of pressure waves.
